Day 6: Beef and Vegetables!

Today is the 6th day of the detox, and also the second to last! YAY! Ryan and I have learned a lot from this detox. So much that he decided to cheat today and drink a beer and smoke a smoke! Betrayal is sweet. I’m still going strong, and he is still partaking as well so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Today we made chili! 

And we ate it all day. We also bought all beef hot dogs and ate those too! 

It was a really uneventful day food wise which is what I believe caused Ryan to cheat. Tomorrow is rice and vegetables, so we’re gonna put some left over chili on rice and eat that all day. At midnight I’m gonna make velveeta mac and cheese shells put them on a digiornos pizza while taking shots. Happy retox! 

Day 5: Beef and Tomatoes!

Today was the very much anticipated day in which http://bealsy89.tumblr.com/ and I were allowed to reintroduce beef to our diets. 

I woke up this morning to make some ground beef. I mixed in a can of diced tomatoes and onions and let it cook while I prepared more wonder soup for the day. We ate a small bowl of the ground beef and tomatoes before adding it to the soup but were filled us up pretty quickly. 

And here are all the vegetables that we added to our wonder soup along with the beef. 

For lunch we had little tiny steaks. This is a picture of Ryan’s puny steak. They weren’t as satisfying as we had hoped, but they were still nice to eat! We marinated some for supper and they were much better. 

Also, here is a picture of Ryan’s really big vein on his forehead. He didn’t even know it existed! You learn something new everyday :) 

Tomorrow we are making chili because we get to have vegetables and beef. The next day is the final day of brown rice and vegetables. Ryan plans on quitting early that day to get fucked up and fat. I will keep on the detox until midnight..when I will get fucked up like no other. 

Day 4: Bananas and Milk

Today http://bealsy89.tumblr.com/ and I were allowed to eat 8 Bananas and have 3 glasses of milk. I didn’t take any pictures today because I forgot to, but we didn’t just eat plain bananas, we were creative! I ate one banana last night after midnight, so I only had 7 to go today! 

For breakfast we both ate two bananas and had a glass of milk, and we were actually pretty filled up from that. 

For lunch we made smoothies using bananas, milk, and ice. Ryan had an extra plain banana as well. I had a small amount of smoothie left and decided to add cinnamon to it, which was a brilliant idea. It added just a little bit of kick so that my smoothie didn’t taste so milky. 

For supper we made banana ice cream. We froze some of our bananas last night when we bought them(and we should have peeled and cut them up first…woops!) and then today we put them in the blender and blended them up with a very small dash of milk. We added cinnamon and enjoyed ice cream that was made completely from bananas(and a very small dash of milk!) It had the same texture and consistency of normal ice cream, and I’ll definitely make it again after this diet. 

Today was by far the best day so far on the cleanse, which is surprising because I don’t like bananas or milk. However, I felt full faster than ever! Also, my cravings were limited today. I don’t know if that is because I read that my cravings would be less so I created my own destiny, or if it has to do with science. Ryan made a conscious decision to stop whining about the cleanse, and he had a much more positive out look today as well. As of today, he’s lost almost 10 pounds, and I’ve lost about 7. It’s most likely water weight but it still feels good to see lower numbers! :) 

Tomorrow is beef and tomatoes. I’m waking up at 8 a.m to make a few fun different things. 

Day 3: Fruits! and Veggies…

Today is the 3rd day of the detox that Ryan http://bealsy89.tumblr.com/ and I are partaking in. We were allowed to eat both fruits and vegetables today. So far, I’ve lost about 4 pounds, and Ryan hasn’t lost any yet. But I’ve been weighing myself naked and he hasn’t. But I also always weigh myself naked so…not sure why he hasn’t lost weight. I have been pooping a ridiculous amount and he hasn’t, so that might have something to do with it. 

We started off the day with smoothies. Ingredients included apples, oranges, pineapple, blackberries, strawberries, and ice. Adding ice to the mix really made the texture of the smoothies a different and much more enjoyable experience.

The rest of our meals were pretty light today, and we kind of ended up on different schedules because I was in rehearsal and he was working on lights so we got released separately twice today. For lunch we just ate our own fruits and vegetables. I think I ate an orange, celery, and some slices of cucumber. I honestly don’t remember lunch at all. For supper we both had a can of green beans. After work we went to walmart, yet again, for some more supplies for the rest of the week. When we got home I made a dry salad of lettuce, cucumbers and celery.

Technically Ryan cheated a small amount today. Our roommate Mikey made a chicken dinner and Ryan took a small sliver of chicken and chewed on it for as long as possible before swallowing it. He betrayed our friendship and admitted that it was worth it. I have yet to cheat but damn it have I been craving a beer. And cheeseburgers still of course. Tomorrow we have to eat 8 bananas and drink 3 glasses of milk. I hate bananas and milk!  Since it’s technically after midnight I already ate one banana just to get it out of the way. But after that we get to reintroduce beef into our diet for two days so I can’t wait for that! On to day 4…. :/
